Slovenski What Are the Common Nozzle Clogging Issues and How to Prevent Them?
Nozzle clogging is the most frequent fault in high-pressure jet grouting and drilling construction, which directly causes unstable jet pressure, uneven grout output, reduced pile forming quality and even forced shutdown of equipment. Nozzle blockage is mainly caused by impurity deposition, grout condensation and particle agglomeration, which can be effectively avoided through targeted prevention measures.
Common clogging types include instantaneous particle blockage and condensed scaling blockage. Instantaneous blockage is mostly caused by large impurity particles, stone residues and undissolved grout aggregates entering the nozzle with the fluid. Condensed blockage is formed by long-term residual grout solidification and scaling inside the nozzle hole, which narrows the flow channel and eventually causes complete blockage. Harsh construction environments and irregular cleaning operations are the main inducements of nozzle faults.
Effective prevention measures cover the whole construction process. First, install multi-stage filtering devices on the grout pipeline to intercept large impurities and ensure fluid purity. Standardize grout mixing proportion and stirring time to avoid undissolved agglomerates. During intermittent construction, keep the nozzle circulating with clean water to prevent grout retention and condensation. After daily operation, thoroughly flush the nozzle and pipeline with high-pressure water to remove residual slurry. Regularly disassemble and clean the nozzle, check hole wear and scaling, and replace severely scaled nozzles in time to ensure smooth jet flow and stable construction quality.
