Safety Regulations for Operators of Crawler Deep Foundation Pit Anchor Drilling Rig

Whether it is a crawler-type anchor drilling rig or a bolt drilling rig, although the operation is simple and no operation certificate is required, basic safety awareness and usage specifications are necessary. A minor mistake may lead to huge property losses or even casualties.

Operators of the Crawler Deep Foundation Pit Anchor Drilling Rig and bolt drilling rig must master the tunnel section, support form, support technical parameters, and quality standards specified in the operating procedures. They should be proficient in using operating tools and capable of performing maintenance and inspections.

Safety Guidelines for Drilling Rig Operators:

Before and during support operations, tap the roof and sides to check for loose rocks, and remove hazardous hanging rocks in a timely manner.

Working under unsupported roof conditions is strictly prohibited. Temporary support must closely follow the working face, and its support form, specifications, and usage methods must be defined in the operating procedures. The maximum unsupported distance before blasting shall not exceed the row spacing of anchor bolts, and the maximum unsupported distance after blasting shall not exceed the row spacing of anchor bolts plus the cycle progress.

Before installing anchor bolts on both sides of a coal roadway, use a hand pick to trim to hard coal and ensure the coal wall is smooth.

Strictly use matching consumables or support materials as specified in the user manual.

After the normal anchor bolt support construction is completed, the pre-tightening force of all anchor bolts should be inspected in a timely manner. If any are unqualified, they should be tightened immediately.
